This House was featured and explored by the Ghost Adventures Gang. Watch the Episode before you go on the tour. It's most Definitely haunted. By good and possibly bad spirits. It's said that Mrs Winchester thought she was being haunted by the people killed by the Winchester Rifle. It's the Rifle that help make the Wild West what it was. Plus it was used in the Civil War. Where 100's of 1000's died because of the Winchester Rifle. Mrs Winchester also held seances multiple times inside the house and she possibly opened up portals for the Spirits to travel through. Open your minds people. It's one of the most Haunted places in America.... Enjoy!!
Its a mystery.. however, I can tell you if you are highly religious this may not be the place for you.
I read that a man built this house then died of tuberculosis. After, his wife went crazy basically or had a serious case of paronoia. She thought ghosts were out to get her in the house so she started building stairs that lead to nowhere. That's all I can say.
You couldve googled that
The house is a maze, built to confuse angry spirits
It is a house that was owned by Mrs. Winchester, she had the home built specifically for her , it has over 140 rooms. It is said to still be haunted by some of the old workers and by her . It's definitely worth the price of the ticket .
It's just a mystery house built like a puzzle. It's worth a visit but it's expensive.
Its worth a visit. Its also expensive.
The history is long with a lot of mysteries. You should go there and find out yourself. You won't be disappointed.
It's an old house that used to belong to Sarah Winchester, the lady whose husband invented the Winchester rifle. She believed she was haunted by the people who were killed by the rifles and was advised by her spiritual adviser to keep building on her house to keep these sprits away. So she kept adding to her house. The house started out as an 8 room farmstead. Today there are 161 rooms. She was a generous lady who paid her servants twice the going rate. Her walls are decorated with wallpaper covering that cost a day's wages per feet. There are some really expensive stained glass windows and doors that are insanely expensive. It's not scarry or creepy although the guides try to do their part in making it scary there are stairs and narrow corridors to navigate.
You're wrong. It's not the wife that lived in the house all these years and built on to it. It is Sarah Winchester his daughter actually.
What are the prices where it says the prices of the tickets
Just go and discover your self ,to see if you will believe it.
