Si te dan vacaciones, solamente te tienen que pagar si te vas o te despiden. Tiempo de enfermedad no se paga. They have to give you sick days. They don't have to pay you for the sick days. They do not have to give you vacation time. If they do, and you quit or get fired, they have to pay your vacation.

Hopefully i understood this correctly. So if your employer does offer vacation (not all do or are required to) if you quit or are discharged they need to pay all that out on your final day. I don't remember if employers are required to offer sick time, but it does not get paid out upon leaving, unless there is a contract. The labor Commissioner accepts all claims. However, please note there is a 3 year statute of limitations.
