Call them. The car lot itself may not be able to help, but Union Gospel Mission may be able to help you get your car fixed. You can also try Frontier Behavioral services, they do a lot of community outreach, & so does Goodwill & the Salvation army. If you have a cellphone, dial 211 to be connected with a clearing house for services offered around the community.
You would have to speak to someone at the UGM shelter for an answer to that question, I'm sure they would love to help you out
