Just American Desserts is my family’s absolute favorite bakery in the Spokane-CDA area. We received so many compliments on how delicious our wedding cake (almond poppyseed cake with raspberry filling and cream cheese buttercream frosting)was and how amazing it was to have a “wedding cake that actually tasted good!” 🍰🙌🏼😋 The JAD team decorated the cake exactly how I asked and delivered it to my remote venue in North Idaho. Just American Desserts, and Eva, the owner, are Just American Treasures. We discovered the "Lemon Cake" years ago, and it has been her favorite ever since. Yesterday, I picked up one for our 35th anniversary, and while there, a couple came just after lunch for a cookie. They joked about how nice it would be to have a glass of milk, too, and the person behind the counter said "Why not? We have milk!". By the way, our cake was for 25 people, and they all loved it and NEEDED to know where it was from...Just American Desserts!

Hard to find good, consistent quality baked goods - especially cakes!- but I've found it here. And best of all, the cakes are offered as slices and there is such a wide variety offered. Hubby likes the red velvet and my regular favorite go to is the chocolate chip cake and the Best Butter Pecan cookies I've ever had. I bake at home often and the flavors and textures of both the cakes and cookies are just perfection!
