Hi Isabel, There are a few differences between an every day running shoe and a racing flat. Running shoes provide more cushion and support than a racing flat. Racing flats will be lighter weight, but what you lose in weight you also lose in cushion, support and durability. A running shoe typically lasts 400-600 miles, where a racing flat is meant to be used for speed workouts and/or races. If you have any other questions, feel free to drop into one of the shops and ask our fit specialists! Thanks, ASP
Running shoes are for everyday runs, therefore they offer more support and are more comfortable. Racing flats are for races, meaning they are much lighter but offer less support and are less comfortable
