Amazing store, I have been in and out of here within the past year. The staff is very friendly, and I am always happy with the shoes I leave with. Thank you

Outstanding service! We were looking for high-end comfort tennis shoes. We first stopped at R.E.I., but couldn’t get any help. The guy we asked for help was rude so we just walked out. We then drove over to A Snail’s Pace and received one-on-one attention. We even selected a different shoe brand than we originally wanted because we were able to try on so many different brands/models. We are very happy with our selection and feel that our money was well spent. This will definitely be our place to shop for future quality tennis shoes.

My entire family has bought shoes and socks from Snail’s Pace Monrovia. The staff are knowledgeable and take the time to ensure you get the best shoe, and do do without being pushy! My wife and I have bought Brooks and our daughter New Balance, and each of us is very happy, and so are our feet!

Great & friendly people. Been buying running shoes from them since 2019. They really know what they're talking about in terms of what is the best shoe size for you, how much cushion you should need, the specific model, etc etc. Also, they have amazing group runs every Monday evening at 6:00! 10/10

They were safe, mask, distancing and sanitizer. I went on a non busy morning, they are very knowledgeable too.
ASP does a great job with analysis and fitting; I haven't gone anywhere else in past 6 years. And I strongly agree, my experience with podiatrists is that the 2 I have seen were not worth the wear and tear of an 8 mile RT. I considered reporting one for performing an expensive and unnecessary test in his office; amazed that insurance paid anything, let alone most of the $750 cost.
Hi Isabel, There are a few differences between an every day running shoe and a racing flat. Running shoes provide more cushion and support than a racing flat. Racing flats will be lighter weight, but what you lose in weight you also lose in cushion, support and durability. A running shoe typically lasts 400-600 miles, where a racing flat is meant to be used for speed workouts and/or races. If you have any other questions, feel free to drop into one of the shops and ask our fit specialists! Thanks, ASP
They do great job finding you a perfect pair of shoes. I would stop by even though they dont carry a specific brand.
