Permitted but not the best beach in San Diego for this sport. Silver Strand State Beach is host to some of the best wind surfing in the world. So all that wind and paddle boarding don't mix well, though it is permitted. Try a sheltered beach like la Jolla Shores or Torrey Pines State Beach. Also for beginners Sail Bay in the Mission Bay area. These are ideal for the sport of paddle board. Hope it helps! Wear sunscreen!
I believe so...check with the lifeguards on duty....
Right across the street ..... you just walk under the bridge .... access from camp ground , is the bay .... a 2 min walk.... perfect for paddle boarding
Was going to post the picture but couldn't get it to work. But all activities on the water are permitted
Yes! Paddle boarding is most definitely allowed (:
We were just over there the week of July 5th and saw several people using g paddle boards. Watch for the Stingrays and wear your water shoes
All solo watersports are allowed there
I haven't seen no one doing stand up paddling; waters might not be in the condition to do it, but that doesn't mean one can't do it. Just tried. It's a wonderful place. But I have seen many people at the Coronado beach next to the community pool. Water are always perfect to stand up paddling. Hope this was helpful. Enjoy!🤙
Not the best place for it, but saw someone doing it.
Yes!! Enjoy!
