No dogs allowed on state beach even with a leash. :(
The camping spaces are big enough for a trailer but are very close together. I would not recommend having the kids run around and play around the trailer. However you are right next to the beach so the kids could just walk a few feet away to the beach. I'm not sure about dogs, sorry.
We are currently camping here. We have a 36’ RV and a Toyota Highlander, as well as our tow dolly, all in our space and there is plenty of room for our 3 bikes and the 3 teenage boys we have with us and their fishing poles, boogie boards, etc etc. There is plenty of room for kids and dogs in the site. Dogs are allowed but not on the beach. I believe there is a dog beach not too far away. The parking lot is a big loop and people walk, ride bikes, etc. Traffic is minimal and very slow and people watch for kids. There is a tunnel you can walk through to get to the bay side. It’s a great place to camp!
I have seen people camping with a dog there but they've always been on a leash and not on the beach. Whether or not that's a loud I am unsure. The spaces are big enough for a motorhome, fifth wheel or trailer. the farthest campsites at the end have more room for children to play in front of your trailer. Or if you get a campsite along the beach it's literally right there they would have plenty of room to play.
Aww. That's sad about how long are the camping spaces
