I needed to photograph a navy reenlistment and family photo session here. Worked well for what we needed even in the middle of the day. I recommend this location if you want the San Diego city sky line in your background. The grounds were kept mostly clean I had no complaints at all.

We took a Lyft from San Diego harbor and asked to get dropped off here. It was perfect. Restaurants, shopping, and beach very close. It was a beautiful day that we spent eating outside with water views, shopping, and walking the boardwalk. Very good idea!!

The ferry was a quick and fun option for heading to the island. You can get tickets at the booth right next to the boarding ramp or online (both are quick and easy). The captain and crew were friendly and helpful and the boat was clean. Great views heading to the island and options to sit below or up top. If you're spending a day at Coronado, this is a great way to arrive.

I love the vibe and the atmosphere. Lots of places to eat, coffee shops, places to picnic and the best is walking pathway all the way to Glorietta Park. You get a beautiful view of downtown San Diego skyline. It's much beautiful at night with the colorful lights of the city reflecting on the bay.
