Great service! My go to place for my camera and studio needs!
Brad Sprinkle
I'm an analog photographer and it's very convenient to have the option to drop off my b&w film when there's no time for in-home processing. Additionally, I shoot quite a bit of 620 film and Woodward Camera has this in stock, nice! Great camera store and easy to find on M1.
Kathy Koontz
Great service, very knowledgeable.
John M. Kenney
Great service; knowledgeable photographers; reasonable and competitive prices

Thanks for reaching out, Vanessa! The film we currently have in stock ranges from $4.99/roll to $15.99/roll depending on the film stock and number of exposures you choose. For instance, Fujifilm 200 36exp is currently $4.99/roll and Portra 400 36exp is currently $13.19/roll. Feel free to give us a call at 248-642-1985 if you have any other questions--we're happy to help! We're open Mon-Fri 10:30AM-6PM and Sat-Sun 10:30AM-5PM.
I'm happy to report the film has been moved into refrigeration and I'm told they have Kodak Portra. They can develop C41 35 and 120, BW 35, BW 120 gets sent out. I have cameras both older and newer than the Olympus, check your light seals.
Hi Tami. We do sell DSLR cameras but unfortunately we do not currently have a Canon Rebel T7i in our used inventory. We carry the current Rebel T8i but am out at the moment. We do have some earlier Rebel models in our used case as well as cameras of other brands. You can give us a call to check up to date inventory. ~d.
Yes we can do it for you, Jasmine. ~d.
Call the store.
They do! They have a good selection of major brands (Kodak, Fujifilm) and some more artsy/newer films like Lomography and Dubblefilm.
Yes we do process 35mm B&W film on site at the store. Pricing is available on our website: https://woodwardcamera.com/store-services/lab-printing Just click on the "Lab Printing Brochure" button. ~Dennis
Not sure if they do this, but you can buy a kit from them to do it yourself. It's not complicated at all.
We take the health of our staff and customers seriously. Masks are required. We have markers on the floor for safe distancing at both the camera and lab counters as well as plexiglass barriers on the counters. We have hand sanitizer and gloves available for customers. Our team is using hand sanitizer regularly between customers and are taking our temperatures at the beginning of every shift.
No, I'm sorry but we do not repair projectors, Thomas. Locally you could check with Midwest Camera Repair - http://www.midwestcamera.com/ or Rence Camera Service - http://www.rencecamera.com/. ~d.
We do take passport and ID photos by appointment Monday-Saturday. They start at $10 for a standard US passport pair. Other specifications may be more. Please call the store to set up an appointment. ~d.
Hi Cameron, Our lab email can sometimes get filled up with online orders so inquiries can unfortunately go unseen. The pricing for developing a roll of film depends on a lot of factors. A simple 35mm color roll processed only is $5.99. If you want single prints, the price can go as high as $14.99 depending on how many frames are printable. You also have the choice to get the roll scanned digitally and that price ranges between $5.99 (for High Res) to $8.99 (for Super Res) per roll. If the film is black and white 35mm the pricing breakdown changes to $7.99 for processing, and up to $22.00 for single prints. We do have our lab pricing on our website under the services page if you would like to explore other printing options. If you have any more questions feel free to call the store at (248) 642-1985 and ask for the lab department. Best, Kylee
We can transfer slides to DVD but at this point we don't usually do sound. We can add background music if you have it in a digital file such as an MP3, but it would have to be royalty-free. Legally, no one can use copyrighted music (i.e. CDs) in making a video for you. The other option is we can create an MP4 video slide show which would allow you to add your own soundtrack with editing software on your computer. It is not illegal for you to add any music as long as the video your making is for personal use and not to be distributed in any way. Thanks, Dennis
We do have a selection of lenses available for rental. Please call the store for more information about what we specifically have available and pricing. Thanks, Dennis
We can look at equipment here and advise you, but we do not perform repairs that require disassembly. In store we are limited to sensor cleanings, focus calibrations, broken filter removal, external cleanings, etc. If you give us a call and let us know what kind of photo equipment you have, we can let you know if we can help you or we do have a couple of local repair facilities to which we can refer you. ~Dennis
If you bring it by the store we can take a look at it. The Sony factory authorized repair center we use has pre-approved pricing, so if we determine it needs a repair we can let you know how much it would cost. ~Dennis
Hi Chris, I work at WC and unfortunately we do not have any used large format film equipment available.
Hi Judy, I work at WC, we would need you to remove the photo from the frame so we can make higher quality copies. If you bring it in, we can take a look at the best options for you.
Hi Louise, I work at WC. We do buy used gear! KEH will be here Monday and Tuesday also (July 22&23 from 9am-5pm).
That's a pretty broad question as most any decent camera would serve as a good blogging camera. We'd need to know in what situation it is going to be used. In a small room such as for a live gaming vlog, you would need a good wide angle and something that is good in lower light. If you have more room and are shooting a single speaker, a more standard to telephoto lens will have a better look. It also would depend on how much you want to spend. Some higher end point and shoot cameras, like the Panasonic Lumix ZS200, Sony RX100mkV and Canon G7X have larger sensors and wide angle lenses. The Canon is Full-HD where the others will shoot 4K, but blogs are about streaming well, not resolution. Most interchangeable lens cameras will perform the best in low light, but getting wider angle lenses that you may need for your space can be more expensive. Thanks, Dennis
We use Photoshop to do batch conversions. File>Scripts>Image Processor on the menu. Seems as quick and renders as good a quality as needed for printing. ~d.
I don't think they do Dropbox, I know they scan and give CDs. You can call and find out though.
Hi Daniel. We don't do repairs requiring disassembly and we don't send lenses in to Sigma as they don't discount us as a dealer and you'd end up paying more. You can send the lens in to Sigma. Details on Sigma repairs can be found here: https://www.sigmaphoto.com/service-support The only local place to check with is Midwest Camera Repair in Wyandotte. Thanks, Dennis
Yes, we do take passport photos and that is the standard size for Canadian and many European passport photos. Be sure to bring your photo requirements in with you as the person's head size in the photo is also a requirement if this is for an official document. Also, we cut off taking ID photos one hour before close. Please see our hours in our Google listing. ~Dennis
Hi Len, The original 28-200mm is not going to sell for very much, I'm afraid. The camera/lens combo would be your best bet for selling as it would be suitable for a photography student, although the fall term rush has ended this year. The beginning of winter term is the next best selling time. As we will let folks know, you can always get more selling equipment outright than trading it in to a store. The most we can expect to get for gear is what it is selling for on Ebay, so the most we can offer for it is about one half to two-thirds of that amount as a general rule. Expensive professional gear will deviate as the prices go up. If I could offer a bit of advice when price checking on Ebay. In the advanced search options you can check a box that says "Completed Listings". Then your search results will only include ended auctions and the items that sold will have prices in green. That way you'll see what people actually paid (or not) for the items. ~Dennis
Yes, CyndyLou. We offer all kinds of video (and movie film) transfers. Whether you want something to play in your DVD player or video files that you can edit on your own computer, we can help you out. Please call our lab for pricing and details. ~Dennis
There is some value to to equipment from the manufacturers you listed. Of course selling it directly (such as on EBay) will maximize the income, but if you like you can bring it by the store any time and someone can give you an estimate of what we would offer. ~d.
