Yes dogs are allowed on the top rim trail. Dogs are not allowed in the trail that goes down into the canyon. There is a kennel where my dog stayed while I hiked down the canyon. The kennel staff was good to her. The cost was $22 for the day. They require your dog to have her shots up to date including the shot for boarding the dog. The park rangers are very helpful and me and my dog enjoyed this natural wonder. Amazing trip!
