I’m trying to rehome my 5yr old German Wirehair Pointer. She is spayed and potty trained. She is leash trained and doesn’t bark. She is hypoallergenic also. She was working as an emotional support dog.

Have you found a home for your dog? Does she get along with other animals? Is she leash trained? Car trained? I assume since she is 5, her shots are up-to-date and that you have all of her records so she could easily be transferred to another vet? I have 2 mild mannered senior dogs who are litter mates and have never been alone. The male is in declining health and the female will need a companion if she is to survive more than a few weeks by herself. To this end I have been looking for a dog who is gentle in disposition, mild mannered, and won't mind sharing house and humans with another. About my husband and myself, I am in my early 60's and have always had a cat and/or dog since I was 3. Sometimes as many as 3 each at one time! I have an infinite compacity to love and care for furry children😊. We've been married 40+ years and during that time have had 4 cats and 6 dogs, and if you think we might be a good match for your "baby" please contact me. Thanks Kat

Yes. I can’t bare the thought of putting her in some shelter while she waits to be adopted. So I’m looking for a direct adopt to a family to easy the burden of transition for her. She has only known me her whole life. If you would like to speak more, let me know if you are sure you know someone willing to adopt her and I will give you my contact info.

Have you found your Wirehair Pointer a new home?

Try finding a direct new owner. I might know someone.
