We hiked on a Thursday around noon, and were lucky to find a parking space. Week day peak times seem to still be pretty busy, so maybe plan on an earlier or later hike. The area was almost cleared out by the time we got back at 5pm. Please bring headlamps or flashlights if you plan on starting later though. It's a very long hike there and back and you don't want to get stuck on the trail without light.
It was pretty crowded yesterday (Friday) at 8am
I hiked on a Monday and there were people there. This time of year (fall) I think there are almost always people there. It wasn't packed on a weekday but still a little busy.
