Utterly magnificent views in all directions. Be warned; drive includes 4 miles of forest road. Fine in good weather, but I wouldn't try it in snow/ice. Easy trek from parking lot to the tower. Also, lots of great of views on the road up.

I am not 100% sure on that. It's on the forestry road and is bumpy and super curvy so if so be careful.
I would imagine so, but I would be cautious on the long, twisting road leading to the Bald becusr it may be a wild ride at night!
