It depends on your problems if it is an emergency that risks your life asap but if it is not a life threatening than maybe 45 min to a couple off hours

The above answers are good accept the Medicare part. There primary care docs are not contracted but will accept if you are a current patient. If your primary care refers you to a specialist at VM they should accept that as well.

You will need a referral from your primary care doctor. Once that's done they'll call you to set an appointment. Time all depends on the next available appointment that they have. Also if your on Medicare or Medicaid, they don't take those insurance any more unfortunately.
