Cafe Solstice is great for an early morning cup of coffee or some afternoon studying. Their lattes are amazing and they have a good tea selection. Unfortunately their pastries are rather subpar for the price.

Cafe Solstice is a Seattle institution of coffee. They have been around almost 30 years bringing unique, down to earth yet cool vibes in contrast to this city full of many uptight or lesser established cafes. The food and coffee/tea are delicious and well made. They bake their pastries and sweets fresh daily and prepare their own sandwiches and wraps with skill toasted to perfection. The staff is warm open and professional - always taking care to keep their guests smiling and the cafe spotless. The art and music rotation is on point. I feel like I am entering a secret hidden club of awesomeness whenever I come here. Thanks for existing Cafe Solstice- you make living in Seattle that much better!

If you're a tea lover, you'll enjoy this Cafe with your coffee drinking friends as it has quite a few loose leaf tea options. On a gloomy morning, I usually go for the London Fog. Their London Fog is actually made nicely. They steep the tea long enough, so you can taste the aroma of the earl grey perfectly. It's also not too sweet. I usually don't like my London Fog overly vanilla or overly sweet. Their baked items are good but I prefer their savory options more often. I enjoy their southwest veggie burrito which is always nicely toasted and their cookies. My favorite is their ginger molasses which is both soft and crunchy. I do like the ambiance and the airiness of the place. You can easily social distance while working on your laptop. I do enjoy the music and the comfy seating as well. Bring your earbuds or headset, if you don't like to work with louder music in the background. The staff can come off a little cold from time to time but I don't let that overshadow the positives.

Tea and baked goods were super good here. Their WiFi is super fast, the ambiance of the environment is like a super cozy coffee shop. I was really surprised how big it was. Plenty of room for huge groups and for also loners like me. Didn't have trouble finding an outlet either. There's plenty of power to go around Really good place to study or just chill.
