Sometimes you have to wait for a group of bison to cross the road. Otherwise it's a good road and worth the drive.

Yes the great drive to the park it really depends how many stops you want to make it what you want to see the dryer for the whole park probably take a couple hours what is a beautiful Park

It has some good views but it's not long and does have a steep twisty part. Stop wander around and remember the bison are wild. Do not approach. Check out the visitor center.

Of course your going to want to get out to take pics and maybe wander up a pretty well defined trail for a bit. It's awesomely beautiful.

I wouldn't put it on a list for drives. The road to get to the deepest part of the Canyon is very nice and pleasant, but in total might take you 20 minutes round trip if you're driving slowly and enjoying the views. I beleive it is only about 5-7 miles from the park entrance to the end of the road.
