You can explore unless there are signs designating otherwise for maintenance. Proceed with caution, the terrain, botany, and most of the wildlife wants to kill you.

I 2ould ask at the visitors center. Also obey ALL posted signs. They are there to keep you safe.
I would suggest you ask at the visitors center, but there are a few notices along trails to avoid some off Trail areas.
The buffalo are protected. It's their park. Such majestic beasts!
