Is there camping on the beach? Thinking of going in the end of July.

Yes there is, but check online and see if there are any spots available for the date you are wanting and if there is, get your reservation in right away. The camping spots on the beach tend to sell out well in advance, from what I understand.

Since the hurricane there are no camp sites its more of a pull up and park on bare land

You don't have to have one of the camp 'sites,' but if You don't reserve one you won't have immediate access to a patio and restrooms. You can always go to the pavilion though.
