This is an awesome canal lock. There is there is all kinds of things to look at here. There is 2 places where you can really see the power of the water. One is where the water runs under the old lock and the other is where is goes through some old control room thinggyy.

Stopped, fired up a grill, and enjoyed a meal while listening to the water.

Nice parking area with great access to the trail. Also has restroom open to the public and some left over lock hardware to view.

Nice, serene walk along the canal. We plan to come again with food as they have picnic tables and places set up to bbq, just need your own charcoal!
