Reservations are best! I saw a group that got turned away with no reservation! If you have a lot of time and can wait, don't really need but if you can make one, I suggest that you do!

Not a total necessity. But we prefer it while traveling with kids or if you are pressed on time. Otherwise just stop by.
We didn't have reservations just signed up and waited for the next available boat. Lots to do while you wait. The Indian village was awesome
We didn't make reservations, just showed up. Since it was a week day there wasn't a crowd.
No you don't, lots to do whilst you wait, good food, drink and things to see.
You don't need to, when you get there they will get you on the next available boat. Don't usually wait more than 30 minutes. They have a baby croc pool and a restaurant to pass the time too
