I'm sure there were snakes around but no one saw one in the 5 days we were there. The park is really nice. We will be going back.
Snakes are all over Texas. You will more than likely not see one because they will see you first.
Snakes are likely near any body of water! None visible at the time we were there.
Didn't see any when we were there, but they are in the area so it's possible you could.
There may be, but you should know that a lot of common snakes in the area are non-poisonous, are harmless, and eat other critters you may not like. Most importantly, you are way too big for them to eat, do they see you as some kind of King Kong and will only bite if they think the giant is about to attack them. Best practice is to shuffle your feet in tall grass, use a walking stick, disturb the grass and weeds in front of you, do they will feel the vibration that you are coming, because they are usually deaf.
