Camped for 3 nights mid November. It was beautiful. I recommend bringing extra blankets cause it can get really cold at night. The rocky ledge trail is a must. And stars at night are big and bright.

This park was a surprise that we will definitely visit again. Didn't get to spend much time there but the pictures don't begin to capture the character and terrain of this park. The water was low possibly due to dry conditions and the construction of a new bridge right now and the boat ramp was dry. Still looked like you could kayak in the lake though. In addition to the park, the visitors center is large and has a lot to offer. It goes a long way to tell the history of the area and has some great artifacts and displays.

Our first camping trip. The experience was amazing! The park rangers were kind and very personable. There were fun, educational activities to do during our stay which were fun and engaging. There is a mini museum and shop at the headquarters, it has useful little trinkets and gifts. The land itself is absolutely beautiful and so cool with the greenish-blueish copper dirt, quartz, and permanent embedded waves from ancient waters of long ago, 💯 recommend this hidden gem.

Such a beautiful park! There is a lot of trails and they are all a good length. The sky is gorgeous at night and you can see everything! The park rangers were all very nice and the trailer spots were huge. There is a lot of space between your neighbors. There is also a covered table. My only complaint is the bathrooms. I know you can’t control the bugs (or giant spiders in this case) but the bathrooms were not in good shape.

I have received phone calls while walking the trails, AT@T. Other than that I'm not sure as I try not to use electronics. Love the area at Copper Breaks, the camp ground could use a few more large trees, any large trees for that matter, it's pretty open.
At least 10 hours.
They told me she post event on fb I was just wondering if anyone knew
I read on their Facebook page They are not allowing open flames.
