The place has a museum and a number of trails with overlooks. Some of the trails have stairs, but it's a nice walk. Views are great too.

Fort Ancient is the site of native Ohio Indian civilization with a rich history. The actual indian mounds and way of life can be seen exploring the grounds as well as the museum which is well worth touring to get a more complete and extremely interesting history lesson. Ohio is unique in native Indian trading. Many types of rocks, and other items were brought to and traded in Ohio by the indians. It's a great destination for hiking and interesting to kids.

The museum is nice. I wish the gift shop had more stuff & the entry was a little bit more welcoming, but it is very educational and does the job extremely well. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.

No
There are multiple and they vary in size. They served as a barrier for a very large area where the settlement/village was located.
Closed on Mondays, Fort Ancient has different hours depending on the part of the year we're in. They are open more days of the week in April to November. December to March the park has open hours only Saturday and Sunday. Web site: http://www.fortancient.org
Yes, it depends on which ones you want to try. Check the website.
Yes has to be on a leash!
I believe if you are a member of the Ohio Historical Society, which has annual fees, you get in free. Otherwise, it costs at the door. But it wasn't terribly expensive.
There are mounds and earth walls all over the area. The term "fort" is loosely applied here. It is not a defense complex, more a community of hunter gathers and intellectuals.
I've never seen trailers in the parking lot, so my guess is no.
Yes, but in the museum not sure
