Nice location not far from Moorehead and Fargo. Great place to spend a night or 2. Handicap showers and bathrooms. Electric only. Portable water fill at entry also dump station. Park Rangers keep the park very clean. Firewood $6.00 a bundle. Oh yes, picnic tables as well as fireplace with attached grill.

Beautiful, long paths along the river and an open prairie. Lots of wildlife. I bring my dog, it’s great.

Our family lives hiking here. Good place to spot wildlife, good mix of forest, meadows, and river bones. Clearly marked trails.

Beautiful state park. I wish they would bring back the man made pool though. Lots of nice trails, great scenery, and very nice people at the park. My family and I were there to celebrate a birthday. It was perfect fall weather. I would recommend anyone a visit to Buffalo River state park.

Check-in's at 4pm. If you're site wasn't occupied, they might let you in earlier.
There are a variety of trails of different lengths. Everything from a mile to a possibility of linking together 7 miles. It's nice hiking with well marked trails.
Not that I'm a aware of. I have been going there for year's. Never seen one. Still cool secluded spot to fish and not see a soul. Just have to walk the river to find good spot
If I remember correctly $7 per day, $35 for annual. ($28 senior citizen)
Not this year. They're keeping it closed this season unfortunately
Not yet they are going to level it out at 4 feet also they were told it would be closed this year so they did not hire any life guards then when they found out they could open it its was too late to hire anyone.
Yes and no. Not actually called bike trails but they are hiking trails that you can definitely rode a bike on
They are closed due to out of season
During the weekday you don't need reservations. But the weekend you'll need to call ahead.
They are needing more life guards before they can open the swim area. Per the park website.
No
Theres no cost for swimming. Just entering the park, so you can either purchase an annual state parks pass for $35 or a day pass which is like $7.
You can purchase a daily pass for the park. I believe it's now $7/day.
