Really enjoyed my walk on the LBJ nature trail. The terrain is mainly flat and includes viewing of Texas Longhorns and buffalo. I also visited to the adjoining Sauer-Beckett Living History Farm. The farm had lots of farm animals (sheep, Jersey cows, turkeys, chickens) and the grounds have been maintained beautifully. The garden is looking really green and seems to be producing corn and other vegetables. I missed seeing the cooking demos.

Great park! We stumbled upon it randomly on the road. We learned a lot about the history of this president. There are plenty of animals to discover: bison, longhorns, goats, deer... The white house is incredible, with a visit from the plane. Lots of beautiful things to discover! I recommend !

This should be a must stop for everyone. So many things to see, trails, all types of wildlife, memorials to read along the way. Luckily when we went it was cloudy. There's a lot of walking if you plan on going on all the trails. The parking was plentiful and there was no charge when we went. We had a blast! Spent at least 2 hrs here but feel we didn't see everything. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Hard to believe that LBJ is buried less than 300 feet from where he was born. What an absolutely beautiful ranch he had... You will see the school he attended , his replicated birth home, as well as his father's home, the Texas Whitehouse, the tarmac from which Air Force one landed.. As a matter of fact you will be able to climb aboard Air Force 1 for a photo opportunity. Absolute must stop if you're heading towards Fredericksburg.... Also, we were surprised that Lyndon B. Johnson was born less than 20 miles from where Admiral Chester Nimitz was born...

The main house is closed due to structural problems....
You bet, right next to visitors center and airplane. Make sure you get your photo taken behind the presidential podium in visitors center.
The white house is currently CLOSED. There a structural issue. You can walk around the house, not visit the inside; check their website. The rest of the visit is free I believe but double check
