Yes, there are quite a few trails. Definitely plan on hiking the trails if you make the drive. Otherwise, the caverns by themselves were not worth it to me. Have fun. They did have a cave in prior to me going there, so we could not do the whole cavern. Call ahead to make sure they fixed that. It was due to the storms, nothing fatal.
Went up several years ago and ran into a rattlesnake on one of the trails - just be careful.
