Stephen Foster has so much history. Camp sites are spacious and restrooms are very clean. Museum was closed but Carillon bell tower was open. Highly recommend fir many reasons

Great park. Our first stay here was in 2020 right at the height of the pandemic. Our second stay was yesterday and unfortunately it was only an overnight stay. One day we will be back to enjoy the park for longer than a day. It’s clean and well kept and the sites a pretty big.

Bell Tower is still under renovation. No info on festival.
Oh, that's a wedding I'd LOVE to come to. The architecture available, the well kept grounds, the classic old buildings IDEAL for a variety of different places for different activities. Its a great place for making memories. Best wishes!
When we stayed on the cabin there was hot water. I am not sure about the camp ground.
All his songs like "My old Kentucky Home".
Hi Ricky, Yes you can bring a golf cart to the park. We ask that you keep to the roadways and follow applicable traffic laws. Thanks!
Hi Tammy, We have limited equestrian trails in Stephen Foster (around 3.5 miles worth) but Big Shoals Public Lands State Park is only 3 miles away and is great for riding. It has an equestrian field for trailer parking and trail access.
Yes
Yes It was dried up for a long time, but a couple of years ago it came back to life after a hurricane came through. There is a springhouse, "White Sulfur Springs Springhouse" at the entrance of the park. Springs are what put White Springs on the map. It once was a Victorian era theme park, so to speak, until a fire burned much of the city. There is still a hotel left in town from that time period, but it's privately owned. We hope the spring is still flowing, as we haven't been there for almost 2 yrs. also Lafayette Blue Spring is around 40 minutes South West of Stephen Foster, and is beautiful. (When it's not flooded, of course!)
You can go on web site to see hours & events & costs
They do light up the whole park. Go the website for more information
I'm not sure if you can pitch a tent in the cabin area, I do know that you have a fireplace in cabin and can have a campfire outside. The cabins are nice and it's a nice time of year to visit, they have their Christmas lights all over the park, it's beautiful! We stayed the week of thanksgiving this year and years in the past, always pleased!
I dont think so but coukd be wrong
The Suwannee River has a fairly strong current as it flows past the park.
If on a leash, yes . You are required to pick up their droppings.
Yes, all cabins have coffee makers.
I believe that you will have to call the Park office and ask them.
White Springs only had mild winds and little rain. Open for business.
The Quilt Show and Sale is the third weekend in October every year
Closed use to be open but just does special engagements That's what I was told.
The Suwanee is a "black" river, ie it's dark due to tannin in the water. So you may not want to swim it. However, tubing, or better, rafting or kayaking can be done. There is a rental place about a quarter mile west of the park entrance. For swimming, there are a couple of other parks nearby with clear water pools and rivers.
Like many parks, I think it's no. But in your camper or tent, or if you're not flashing around an obvious container in your camp site, there's no problem.
Opened in 1950
