Its not that type of park. It is a drive thru or walk thry and then a museum and store for books, etc. Then the National Cemetery.

It is a National Cemetery, so no picnic, and NO walking the dog. You don't see that at Arlington for the same reasons. Dogs MUST remain in the vehicle.

I did not see any grills either. Make sure you are looking at the right place, i originally that the last stand was closer to Mount Rushmore, there is Custer stuff there also.
