Dogs can't be on the grounds. We drove the grounds with the dog not leaving the car.
It's usually really hot in the summer. I wouldn't bring a pet that would have to stay in a vehicle. It's a big cemetery, museum/souvenir building, then about 5-6 miles following the battlefield. There are paths to walk, but not appropriate for animals. I hope that this helps, I know you have already gotten some good answers. Thank you
Only service animals.
I believe only service animals are allowed.
Many grounds operated by the National Park Service specify where dogs are permitted. Servive animals are always allowed but pets typically are not permitted atcertain sites and improved areas. Your dog would be allowed in the parking lot but not on designated paths, buildings, around monuments, or in the national cemetery that is located in the park.
Only service dogs. I was just there last week working, and that seems to be the biggest question. Just be sure the crack the windows in a vehicle cuz it gets really hot there.
I believe service dogs only.
They only allow service dogs. There is a sign at the entrance to the grounds
The only sign I remember is for the building, the grounds are also likely to only allow service dogs.
