There are several places you can make it up and down. We climbed both enchanted rock and little rock without taking the actual summit trails.

Yes. A friend and I climbed. It took us 2 1/2 hours as we took several breaks but we made it. It wasn't a race for us so we went at our own pace. It was more difficult because we didn't take the trails, we went straight up.
