The check-in was easy. Staff is friendly and helpful. Provided a map with places of interest in town and the surrounding area. The site itself is small. The small picnic table is placed on a small level concrete pad. It fits two adults comfortably. Not practical for anymore than two adults and two small kiddos for dinner. The rest of the site is small gravel and dust that sticks to the bottom of shoes and feet. Put a towel/rug on the first step of your rig for cleaning. It got everywhere. (It's not the parks fault, but an annoyance) The bathrooms are just that, individual rooms, each with a sink and shower and chair. Very clean. Although I only stayed overnight and didn't need a shower I turned on the shower to check and the water pressure and temperature seemed to be great. The laundry and rec rooms are in the same building. These facilities are located in the middle if the park. Convenient. The laundry room also has a wall full of books, puzzles, and dvds to borrow while your waiting for your clothes. Nice. 🙂 I appreciate how close to downtown the park is. Put on comfy walking shoes. We walked into downtown. Be prepared. The streets do not have sidewalks until you get to about a block away from the middle of the downtown area. Irregardless the walk was good and I will do it again. An unexpected bonus is a group of food trucks right next door. Awesome for us! I didn't have time to check it out, but I did see lights on and people over there until about 9pm on a Tuesday. Yay for fun food trucks. I will be back to Fredericksburg RV Park for the location to downtown, the clean facilities and the activities in the area.

Check-in was – well, they hand you a map, show you where your site is and send you on your way. The park is mostly long term which surprised us since it is wine country. We love wine and that’s why we came but we were not willing to pay the exorbitant prices they charge. The wineries are quite proud of their product. Back to the park. The roads are paved but the sites are teeny tiny red gravel. Needless to say, you drag it all over especially when wet. And it was very wet when we were there. It is so irritating. The interior roads are a bit tight maneuvering for large RVs, and the trees need a good trim. Our site was level and plenty long enough for our 45-foot MH and toad. Sites are nearby with some sites having more space than others. Each site has a “rustic” picnic table on a concrete pad. Our virus software wouldn’t let us use their WII FI so we don’t know if it works or not. Verizon was 4g 3-4 bars so we were able to use our hot spots. Satellite is possible in some sites. The campground map shows that there is a trash bin up by the restrooms/laundry which is in the middle of the park. I found out the hard way by slogging up there from the back row in 27 degree weather that there actually isn’t one. The only trash bins are at the front of the park as you exit – really? We heard traffic noise off and on and some type of heavy equipment sound but we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. The trip here, sadly, was a fail.

The unfriendly, micromanagement of the staff at this park, overrode good location & all other amenities. Rules upon arrival were different than online. Found out the we couldn’t use our portable dog pen. Couldn’t use our pop up canopy. Not allowed to cook outside using charcoal grill. Their rule, not the fire dept. Rude when telling us about it. The sites were tight. Gravel parking. Small concrete area with small table. Find a friendlier park that is more interested in their guests having a good time! Won’t be back!

For 3 seasons, under the old management we enjoyed our time here. But new management has made changes that reduces interactions between campers, and had us waiting for the additional reductions in services. Have found a better park more camper-friendly for future winters.

Agreed, I know you can grill so I would assume a fire pit would be allowed.
Restate the question
Monthly rates are available. Just call the office. Great folks. We winter there.
Lol, if your not from the south then those are not going to be normal to you lol. Those are tree roaches (aka water roaches). They are very common in south and are not like your disgusting mini roaches. They won't spread and won't do harm
Not sure on pricing. I would give them a call, sorry.
You might want to call them to check openings.
