Fort Pickens Fishing Pier You do not need a license if you are fishing for recreational purposes from a pier that has a valid pier saltwater fishing license. The Fort Pickens Area Fishing Pier is a licensed pier. (There is a two pole limit on the pier) Source: nps.gov

On most piers you pay to fish on the license is included in the fee. Probably not here. Call them

Steven Guenthner | Nov 6, 2021

Not at the fishing pier from what I understand. The park maintains a license for the pier so you don't need to have an individual one in order to fish from the pier. Anywhere else I would say yes

Yes, you need one to fish anywhere.
