Yes they do. You can call them and they can tell you the dates. They wear the full attire, tell stories, have different stations in the fort. Its pretty awesome!
No but they are firing up one Cannon twice a day on wknds
Was there last summer and watched a training session where soldiers in full dress were being taught to load and fire rifles. Very interesting!

They also have soldier school which teaches about the uniforms, boots, etc. And why they were made the way they were. Very informative. Then they fire guns. The fort is made so Noone could approach without being seen and shot if the need be.
The park rangers alluded to period costumes and cannon firing.
Never saw any. Ferry service starting soon to get there faster!
