They are allowing you to stay free as long as you don't check out
We were there 2 days ago and it was free , as long as you dont leave and come back for a second time.
We were there last weekend & it was free, there's no water running through it yet, just in one spot you can walk to, takes about 20 minutes through the sand from the parking lot.
The free day was April 21.
Not sure, it was the other day.
