Is this hotel in a bad area of town? We will be passing through and stopping for the night but don’t want to put our kids in danger if the area is bad.

No it's not great location and close to a lot of great places to dine at a reasonable price. I enjoyed my stay, rooms are nice and clean with inside entrance. Staff is very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again without a doubt.

Downtown Montgomery, where the Embassy Suites are is very nice and has several food places, the Biscuits stadium, and other nice amenities now. So no problems there.
