Amazing hotel, we got it last minute and they were still at Hilton quality the entire time. The overall experience was quite cool being in a hotel in the middle of the capital of Alabama, they have paintings all around the hotel for all of the historical events and current buildings of the State capital. The coolest part is that there is a historical train station nearby that is pretty much a historical monument in itself. The location of this area is unparalleled and filled with so much history! Thank you Hilton for the great experience.

Being near Maxwell was important. But being clean and comfortable was even more important. This hotel checked nearly all the boxes. We could have done better on the price, but we were willing to accept it as they allowed us to check in before noon. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

My wife and I, with two other couples, stayed overnight at this location to attend a concert and we were amazed at how close it was to the theater; literally right across the street. Several places to eat and drink within a few minutes walking. We parked the car at the hotel and walked everywhere we went. We will be coming to events at this theater more often since this hotel is so convenient. The hotel itself was clean and looked brand new, the staff was helpful and the breakfast buffet had a very good selection. The six people in our party all had something different and everyone enjoyed their breakfast. We had a suite, thanks to our friend who got us an upgrade with her points as a frequent traveler, so I can not speak of the cheaper priced rooms but ours was great and on the level of several 4 star hotels we stayed at in the past. I can not think of a single negative comment for this hotel and strongly recommend that you give it a try.

I always use the Embassy because I never have problems at any of them they are always clean and up to date but this one was the first embassy I felt like we was staying at the Motel 6. First they are very stingy with towels. It’s a hassle to ask them for additional towels. Second we had to scrub the shower because it just looks dirty. Third the toilet was very slow at flushing. Forth I was down stairs at the bar getting a drink and there was a roach crawling on the bar. Lastly they had three elevators, and two of them broke down on our last day thank God and they had no access to stairs from the bottom level which had us waiting for 10 to 15 minutes to get on the elevator. The positive to this place is it’s in the mist of downtown and the staff was really nice but for the amount of money you pay to stay there you should have top service just like all the other Embassy’s I have stayed at. Hopefully they upgrade this place. This is one place I wouldn’t recommend just because it’s not cheap to stay there.

It is walking distance if you really had to (15-20 minutes). But driving it's super close!
No it's not great location and close to a lot of great places to dine at a reasonable price. I enjoyed my stay, rooms are nice and clean with inside entrance. Staff is very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again without a doubt.
It's close to it, near the bus and train stations
Ummmmm, come back stay with again.
I'm not sure but it's at least 25 years old.
Contact their reservation desk.
I didn't see either channel.
It should apply to both rooms, but I would call the hotel to be sure.
Yes, the hotel is very accomidating. They do all they need to assist their guests. Also the DoubleTree hotel is another exceptional hotel who has award points that goes toward a free night and their complimentary hot chocolate chip cookies are to die for, so if you choose double tree, ask for extra cookies at check in time ! Hope this was helpful
