Yes you pay 8.00 at the gate and 4.50 to climb lighthouse it's an easy climb not as high as some of the other ones good for more elderly people view is okay if you're really looking at a lighthouse that you want to see Huntington Beach they charge you to climb but it's way better is a steep climb but the view is phenomenal

We paid an entrance fee at the base of the lighthouse. I believe it was $6.00 per person.
