Right now tho its flooded and not open to swimming. But by mid May it should be good. Water is really cold tho till about mid june. And it swift so be careful. Otherwise its a great beach and park. Open year round. New overlook and rangers sta.to open this summer . Looks really great.
It is open now. Only time it is closed is when the river level is high due to flooding or if Ecoli is found in the water.
Is there any snakes in the water? Lol just curious.
