Jacksonport State Park

Great little state park and 2 small museums. One located in the new visitor center, and the other in the old courthouse building. Lots of information on the history of local area. Great camping area with each one spaced out from the other. I did not see sewer for r.v but they do have dump stations close to camp. Nice play area for the kids and swimming on the white river. There is not a roped of area for swimming and no lifeguards. Staff all seemed very friendly.

Great little gem in the rough. We had a great spot right next to the river. Nice walk to the beach and walk around. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately the bath house and showers are down right now. They are waiting for the crews to finish up. We where there for one night so our tanks where good enough. We would come back again when in the area. Cool history on the grounds also.

Jason the tour person was excellent. The old court house was wonderful. The host at the visitors center had a great wealth of knowledge about the city
