Great trail! Needs a little maintenance. Lower half is prettier than upper half. Vernonia end has a pond with benches and a few tables. Trail head parking lots fill early and quickly.

Nice trail ride. Trail is mostly shaded lso layer up. I got cold. The sunny spots felt good.

It's a nicely maintained trail. I personally did not appreciate the singular uphill asthetic. Younsre climbing the entire time it seems. Perhaps I need to up my ante. My 2 cents.

I was visiting when it freezing rain in late November so it looked dead and deserted, bathrooms disgusting. I imagine spring and summer it's amazing!

Yep
5 miles from vernonia ? Also you may want to do it early in the morning to avoid the mid day heat that's been plaguing the area lately.
