Wonderful beach park with plenty of space to walk around on trail and sand. The summertime is insane though with the traffic of tourists. We live about 20 miles from here and even with arriving as soon as they open there’s a bit of a crowd. Don’t bother trying to get in past noon, or be prepared to wait in a LONG line of cars. It’s a lot better in the fall and winter in terms of traffic. Still beautiful no matter the season.

A great place to visit to enjoy the beach and a great hike thru the woods. Can be crowded during peak summer, but can be visited year-round.

Always a favorite of mine. Went back yesterday and found a new little spot that is a little more private a beautiful beach side this park has so many different options for relaxation its worth a trip it does cost to enter during summer season

Had a wonderful afternoon here with our 11 and 6 year Olds. We flew a kite, walked the beautiful beach, enjoyed climbing the rocks and took gorgeous shots of the marsh. We've been coming here for many years and I never tire of the park. Easy parking.

Dogs are allowed in State Parks beaches from Sep 30 thru April 1. So not for another week.
I'm not sure what you're asking. I'm sorry.
Yes but not on beach at the top over looking beach also has bbqs
Unlike popham state park Reid never fills up. They have several large parking areas. The earlier the better as far as finding your spot on the beach. That way you can check out the different sections as they all have a different feel. Love Reid it's the best beach in Maine!
There was no one at the booth on April 17th but there was a box to drop off the money 8$ fee
I believe it's just a staffing issue! You can still walk down, or ride a bicycle
127. You cross a bridge to get there.
$6 for Mainers, $8 for folks from away. Seniors are $2. Kids 5-11 are $1 and under 5 are free
There is an honor tube to deposit fee. Listed right there. Please help support the park 😊
Sequinland camp ground on bay point rd....there is no camping at Reid...it's not to far from the beach
I believe $8 for in-state adult $6 for kids. The above info is also correct
It is a great place for a family outing plus they have charcoal grills near the beach.
Yes
And veterans get in free. If your a total disabled vet (100%) you and your immediate family is free
Yes, we were bothered by those flies. They were at the main beach on Sunday. We swatted several of them.
$4 in state per person and $8 per person out of state
U can fish there, only on the back side. Not along the beach
$6.00 per person
Always the Saturday OR Sunday before Memorial Day.
Honestly I don't know. We were only there one day and I did not see one. There were a couple of food trucks there though. I am not from Maine.
I would say "yes" because there's a pretty lengthy boardwalk. If there's any chairs which are made to roll through the sand are available than that certainly would open up more opportunities to explore my absolute favorite place in the world! I don't know if Reid has a special chair like that, but Popham does.
They are only free offseason, and that is when dogs are also allowed.
Yes,they have a large parking area.
$8 each got non maine residence. $6 for mainers.
Yes, we in fact have 2 beach wheelchairs.
Yes. Allowed a peck per person without a license.
The closest would be Seguin Island Light.
