We stayed here on Jul 1&2. Staff was nice. Premium site 40 was large and clean. Power and water hookups only. Our granddaughters enjoyed the splash pad and beach. Returned for one night, 12th, prem site 39 was great. No splash pad available. The restrooms and showers were clean. Thank you.

Great people, beautiful, super clean park and awesome restrooms. Had a great time at the beach and the splash pad was great for the grands. Great wifi signal if you need. The cabins are beautiful and right on the lake. Will definitely be back!

Stayed 1 night traveling through to Arkansas. No fishing for me. Just wanted a break from the big chain hotels. What a relaxing evening with wonderful views. I felt save there as a solo traveler. A beautiful cabin and a chance to support Louisiana State Parks. I'm going to recommend this place to all my friends fishing or not.

Very beautifully specious sites excellent staff!!! We will be staying here again wonderful trails bike riding fishing and boating. Donβt let the name fool you as itβs wonderfully kept !!!! I pick up garbage most places and not one piece here!!! Birds armadillos so far are my nature finds but signs for black bears have me aware. Saw cabins on the water so visitors can have breakfast on the deck and watch the fish jump, even saw fishing π£ poles off some cabin decks! Lovely roads, wide and trees well trimmed wish all campgrounds were like hereπ₯°

Could i please see how the cabins look inside
Reservation information is found at www.ReserveLaStateParks.com.
There are some very small ones, however, they are located out where you park your vehicles. I would recommend bringing your own as they are really small.
Thank You Jon Robertson
Yes there is a beach near the marina at the north end of the lake.
I'm not sure but I know from experience it is A WONDERFUL place to be on Easter.ππππ
No
Gotta check directly wit the park. Different pricing for different accommodations.
No just fishing a play water at the campgrounds. They have a beach and a Marino about 4 miles from campgrounds. But very nice place to camp
The wifi isn't working. We just went over memorial day weekend. I was able to connect to the wifi, but it was showing no internet. Both AT&T and Verizon have solid signal strength there though.
Not at the cabins. Zero dogs per their policy
Don't know about the cabins but plenty of places to eat out!
I dont think any pets are allowed but I would check the website.
The cabins run $150-175/night plus tax. If you go to the website and visit the Fees & Facilities page, all the discounts are listed there.
The park does have sewer hookups...anything you need to know about the park, you can find on their webpage β https://www.crt.state.la.us/louisiana-state-parks/parks/poverty-point-reservoir-state-park/index β or by calling the park directly.
If you visit their website -- www.LaStateParks.com -- you can find out how much boat rentals are. The maximum stay is 14 nights. And swimming in the reservoir lake is allowed at the beach area.
On their Facebook page...go follow them for lots of great fish pics!
Their website should have an answer to both questions? Call the Park if they're open when you need the information?
Yes
Pull up the web-site they have a few different styles of cabins
