Many. If you want actual numbers, then the DNR is your best bet. The park will be closed Nov 18th and 19th for deer hunting.
Not sure a number could be put on the exact number within the park but I have seen quite a few the times I've been out there. Plus the deer are able to come and go as they please. There are no fences or any other barriers holding them in or out.
We personally didn't see any deer while hiking in Whitewater State Park but were there during day hours when you would be less likely to see deer in the wild.
Are you talking american or french canadian deer?
