Such a nice park and campground. There is 470 sites but doesn't feel like a large campground. Sites are comfy; tables, fire rings, electric, assorted bathrooms, shade, showers, scattered water spigots. There's a swimming beach and boat ramps in the park itself. Bring your corn hole, volleyball, horseshoes, lawn darts, bicycles, penny cans, and any other assortment of outdoor games. It is quite and I recieved several nights of solid sleep.

Great park, very well kept camping areas. We had an issue with the electricity, called it in, and had it fixed within an hour. It was a great weekend, and we will be back!

The whole place is amazing. Everything is very clean. We rented a cabin on a pond this visit. We are buying a camper soon and can't wait to go back.

1. Campground The campground was beautiful! Over the recent holiday weekend, the campground was full. We had to stay at a primitive site. I'm glad we did because they were some of the biggest at the campground. Our campground neighbors were excellent, and our girl had fun riding bikes with the other kids. 2. Playgrounds The beach playground is the best one in my opinion due to the beautiful lake views! There is another playground right when you enter the campground, which was ok. 3. Facilities Be prepared for a mix of outhouses and good bathrooms with showers. The family bathroom by the lake was flooded :( The camp store was a life saver for various odds and ends.

Im pretty sure it's still open but I don't know the hours but I think it's 8-10 I'm pretty sure
Shouldn't be too much longer. Weekend of 4-24 there were already boats out fishing.
Go to the Indiana Dept. of Natural Resources page, and you eventually find links for reservations via Reserve America with prices, maps, etc.
Yes People had all types of floats in the swimming area when we were there.
Yes their is one inside the campground down by non electric and one right outside the gate between the main gate and campground gate
Down by the beach/ swimming area. I saw a lot of people do it there.
What new laws are you talking about? Also, I find it interesting you would complain about boats at a lake.
Jackson's Store has firewood, the DNR sells firewood at the office 10 pieces for $5, and the camp store by the beach also sells firewood.
Yes they do
Per the website $30 per night May-October. Reduce rates apply the rest of the months. Park entrance is $7 the first time you enter. Your receipt serves as your in/out pass.
Bostwick Pond very recently filled up, but it has not been restocked. We are working with the Division of Fisheries to create a future perch fishery in the pond. The current plan is to check for any unwanted fish this fall, and then stock it with the recommended number of perch fingerlings. However, our nearby campground pond is fully stocked and open to fishing.
