Ditto, if you don't like cold water you will like the beach. We just came back this week and the water was warm right off the beach. It was cooler by the raft but not cold, it felt good with 90+ degrees weather.

No, alligators are a little further south in Arkansas. Crocodiles are all salt water as far as I know.

No, but there are turtles in the water. We thought they were the heads of snakes, but it turned out to be Turtles. It was pretty funny. Never saw any type of hazardous creatures in the waters.

We stayed for about four days ....never came across any animal. it was said one bear had been wandering one of the nights around the resort no incidents though , there is alot of bugs and spiders ! I would take a bug spray if you don't like bugs
