This place is just beautiful! The cabins are big, very clean, sound proof, quality cabins. The blinds are quality, the beds are comfortable and nice. Even the futons are comfortable. We appreciated how nice everything was. There is an outlet in any spot you’d want. The pots and pans, etc are all nice. Plenty of towels, and everything you need to be comfortable. The cabin was beautiful. All pine wood. Everything worked. And, worked well. The bathrooms and tub were very clean. The outdoor furniture was nice and sturdy. It’s fun to have the horse shoe community feeling, but the cabins still feel private, as they were spaced apart nicely. The people were all so nice and polite. The maintenance staff went above and beyond to help us with gas, maps, and trash. They were always around and always helping. The pools were really clean- the game room, too, and the bathroom. We like to see new places and stay somewhere different every year, but we hope to return here again. We got in on a cancellation this year, booked a year out. If you get in- keep it! You will love it! There is no AC but the cool nights in the U.P. make for great sleeping. We loved having the windows open. I’m asthmatic and worried about no AC, as I can’t keep windows open due to camp fires. However, I found the smoke to be contained to each camp fire- we are spaced out enough, it worked out. Plus, most people went to bed around the same as us. If you are worried about it like I was- maybe bring your own window AC? I saw someone else did that. Our kids had a blast at the courts, meeting other kids, fishing/boating, the pools and game room. This place is very well taken care of. Everything was very clean. The yard was nice and mowed… swings by water… steps were nice to beach. Beach was really cool. Felt like the ocean. Thank you for a great stay!

You are basically expected to clean your cabin for the next people. As in professional clean, otherwise they charge you an insane amount. I understand cleaning up after yourself, sweep/mop/take out garbage stuff in that manner but I come here for vacation and to have to worry that every single spec of dust or crumb is off the floor makes for a stressful vacation!

We enjoyed our stay this summer for our annual fishing trip. Fishing was slow but once we found some Northern Pike we started catching them consistently. Our 2 bed room small cabin was beautiful for my wife and I and my parents. Really enjoyed our stay.

This is amazing place! Beautiful scenery and amazing cabins! Pools, hot tub are spectacular. The staff was very helpful in everything. Very highly recommended. Been going to the Upper Peninsula for over 30 years and I finally feel like I'm getting my money's worth.
