I love the atmosphere. It's very quiet and peaceful. The owners are very kind and helpful. The scenery is wonderful. Especially during the fall.

**********BUYER BEWARE********** The website and the Facebook page are deceptive. It has been constructed to seem that it is a well maintained, lovely resort with close proximity to the lake and nice, rustic interior. The truth is that a $100/night could be better spent at a Holiday Inn Express. The interior of the "Little John" room #1 was very dirty, dead bugs included, and dirt tracked in by what I am guessing was a pair of muddy work boots. The matress that we slept on could be used to perform torture by the KGB. All in all, the Norfork Lake Mountain Lodge should be your last Resort. Also, the staff got catty with me through text after I cancelled the rest of my 3 day stay after the first night.

My family and I stayed here for a month this summer while we were in search of a place to live in the area. The cabin was absolutely perfect, the serenity was irreplaceable, and my children enjoyed the zip line as well as movie nights in the pavilion! The staff is very accommodating and helpful in everyway. I recommend this place to everyone in need of a friendly getaway from reality!

As Ron Swanson would say, a very good place to sleep. The location, amenities and friendliness of the staff is simply outstanding. I wasn't expecting much given how cheap my room was but I received far more hospitality than I could have imagined. I will be back without a doubt.
