Is there a fee if you walk into the park without a car

Wow...8.00 is sooooo much to pay...such cheap people...FYI that money goes to keep up the park...quit being so damn cheap and pay the 8.00..

Like Rory says, there is a back way to get into the park.

We always park there but now there is a State Park sign in the parking area. We park down the road and walk in for free.

Yes it is free to walk into the park without a car, there is even a back entrance that you can park that is not inside the park. It's down by the shore past waterfront Mary's can't remember the name of the street...
