Had a great time exploring this state park. I have a goal 30 MO state parks this year and this is # 9! The trail I went on was pretty well maintained. Alot tree coverage, so even though it was 100 degrees, it was still pretty decent in the shady trail. Saw a wild turkey and some colorful birds! Thank you for taking care of our state parks!!

Our first time camping as a small family. Very very nice park, the campground hosts are wonderful and so nice. They are willing to give advice and chat about the park and things to do, they also sell ice and fire wood which is very handy. Nice little stocked pond to fish (hybrid blue gill and some catfish) and was re- stocked while we were there. Saw plenty of deer and a nice little trail to hike on the campgrounds as well. Also have nice large private family showers and two different bathroom houses. Very small campground but still very private units. Will be visiting for more years to come

This is a decent size park, never actually been there before so wasn't sure what to expect but the trailmud2ft pathway that had a few muddy spots and there was a tree across but we managed. It was just raining the day before so sure once it dries out it won't be so bad. There were several areas but got there later in the evening so only had time for one trail. Would love to go back again very soon.

Very easy to make reservations. The operator was extremely nice and knowledgeable. Would rather be able to swim. I think this campground is more for campers and …

I swim here all the time. At least 50 times this year alone, no one has ever stopped me and I see other people swimming here often. It's a nice easy-going part of the river. You can enter the water from the boat ramp or you can take the trail on the left of the parking lot to get down to water's edge and float down to the boat ramp.
There r no pull throughs in the electric only 1 in the basis.all the electric sites u back in & in the center of the. Camping loop. As for backing yur 5th Wheel in to the sites? It will depeand onbhow Well u can back It. Most of the sites r a st8 shot
I remember he worked during the week one of the best workers the park ever had. Thank you.
Not free, but very reasonable about $17 / day. You can reserve on the website.
I don't think they are allowed in any state parks
Yes. Choose a campsite and check in with the office the next morning. You can also reserve sites and pay online.
My wife and I are actually the current camp hosts. We do have electric sites to choose from. Water is off in the park except for the bathroom at the beginning of the loop. Reservations are not able to be made during the off season. It is first come first serve. Stop by the first host site you come to and we can take care of any questions you have.
Camping year round....no water/showers after october 31...check out website
Thank you I tried but no answer no at a shelter my sister in law loved the out doors and were from that area and the park was first thing I thought of thank you
$19 per night for a 30 amp, electric only site. There is at least one family site but I don't know how much it is. I know that I used to have a list of all the parks and what the rate was for each type of site but I can't find it anywhere on the site now. Robertsville is one of the "value" parks. It was clean & quiet & very thick trees.
At the end of the main road, there is a boat ramp into the river. Little swift but people do swim there
We usually walked on the paved roads. Nice hike.
